Fonda, the Shiba Inu, has been through a lot and she has the scars to prove it. But, she has not lost her spirit in spite of her hardships. She is a sweet girl that takes time to trust people. Going for walks and exploring outside are some of her favorite things in life. A typical Shiba, Fonda is independent and strong-willed. Since one of her main goals is to escape, a very secure 6ft privacy fence will be required to adopt her. She does well with other dogs of all sizes and would benefit from another confident canine friend in her home. We need to keep Fonda close, so she will not be adopted out of state. Because of her fears and insecurities, there can be NO children under the age of 18 in her new home. If you have a calm, patient home and would like to put in the time to help Fonda learn how to be a confident girl, maybe your home is the one for her!
Because our rehab team is still working with her, Fonda requires a longer adoption process and an experienced home in Colorado. Learn more about Fonda here: http://petango.com/Adopt/Dog-Shiba-Inu-38370648
